A full year musical theater program and acting technique class. 1st semester culminating in a scene and monologue showcase and 2nd semester culminating in a 60-minute musical. Kids will learn the importance of person to person communication in our scene study and maintain a drama journal throughout the school year. They will also learn what it takes to put on a professional show through fun theater and vocal games, as well as being cast in the show. No formal auditions are held ahead of the start date. Any kid who joins the club, joins the cast! This class requires dedication and hard work with a solid commitment from parent and child for the full school year. We believe theater is a discipline to be respected, rehearsed and learned just as a sport or martial art. Attendance is VERY important as the students build a strong bond as a cast. As with any show, some days students will be very busy working on their scenes and songs with instructors and other days they will be expected to work independently.
