Seussical Kids (Friday- St David's)

Play, practice and perform Seussical Jr with Portland Drama Club!

This class is a big commitment. The purpose of this class is to put on a
show at the end of the school year for which we can be proud. Attendance is
very important. Some practicing of lines and songs at home is required. There
will be times when your child is not working on their part. While we try to
split into groups with kids playing team building and confidence boosting games
with an assistant while others are working with the director there is
occasional down time. Even this downtime is valuable and encourages independent
work and partnership as kids often will quiz each other on their lines or learn by watching their fellow castmates.

We follow the PPS school calendar. If there is no school on a drama day or
school is canceled due to weather we will not have class unless you are
notified otherwise. Please understand we do not offer refunds on days missed
for snow days as we still must pay our rental and staff).

While this is a year round program our show is late April due to PDC's very
full show schedule at the end of the school year. Class will continue after our
production as a child care option. You can add this to your cart.

A walking group from Abernethy Elementary is available for a fee of $50 for
the full school year. You can add this option to your cart.

We are looking for two volunteers per class day to help on our walking group from Abernethy. If you sign up for 3 walking
days your child's walking fee is waived. For each additional day after 3 signed
up you can receive $10 off the total class tuition. If you'd like to be our full time parent volunteer walker we can give you 50% discount on class! Let us know! Choose the payment plan

Our show date is now scheduled for Saturday April 25 (one
matinee and one evening) with a tech rehearsal on Friday April 24.

There are 33 total classes on Fridays for the 2019/20 school year.

As of April 15, 2019: A 3-payment plan option is available at check out for a $25 fee. Pay $225 at
registration (+ $50 walking fee if added) and then auto-payments on August 28 and January 6th. We offer full refunds minus a $65
administrative fee up to August 27th. After that we can offer a pro-rated
refund amount of $18 per class taken and the $65 fee until October 4. NO
refunds after October 4th once our show is cast.

We offer a 15% sibling discount. This includes siblings in the K-1 class.
